Nike Restore the ‘Rainbow’ Air Max Plus From 1999

The will always be one of the brand’s strongest retro runners. Revered for its tough looks and street smarts, the sneaker, also known as the TN, is best known for its vibrant and often collectible colourways. One coveted edition from the dawn of the millennium is set to return in the form of the ‘Rainbow’ from circa 1999.
If the OG ‘Hyper Blue’ and ‘Tiger’ colourways demonstrated the potential of the model’s gradient uppers, then the ‘Rainbow’ goes the full monty. Its uber-bright yellow-to-purple fade is not for the faint of heart. The gradient is replicated on the large arch insert, wrapping the sides of the midfoot and neatly dividing the yellow-tinted Air units in the midsole. Additional elements on the outsole are coloured yellow to match. These are some tough TNs.
Chase the ‘Rainbow’ when this Air Max Plus arrives at select Nike retailers in coming months.
