Nike To Drop an Air Max Plus ‘Rainbow’ That’s Not From 1999

Nike’s perennial Air Max Plus has been tearing through the sneakersphere, dominating headlines with colourways and collaborations that stick true to the 1998 silhouette. Fresh off an ultra-hype Patta colab, official imagery has just emerged of a new ‘Rainbow’ combo, although it’s not the pair that dropped in 1999.

Unlike it’s 24-year-old predecessor, this ‘Rainbow’ sticks true to the Roy G. Biv scheme, opting for a mega gradient build that combines a multitude of vibrant colours. Black veins, leather mudguard, tongue and laces allow the tones to pop, alongside matching white Swoosh and midsole. TN Air branding remains on the heel and insole, rounding out the latest Tuned iteration.
