This Nike Air Max Plus Uses Interesting Leather
The is a constant in the sneakersphere, dropping on the regular in brand new shades and fresh material builds, breathing new life into the decades-old model. The past year has seen plenty of colourways hit shelves such as the and which pays homage to the and now a brand new red, white and black joint has just been debuted. It looks simple and clean when you first catch a glimpse, but after giving it a good look you can see that the leather used on the mudguard is actually quite intriguing.
Up top a white mesh has been laid down as the base, the iconic TN veins are in grey, perfectly complementing the red Swoosh and gradient carbon fibre mid-foot clip. Instead of the usual Tuned heel logo Nike have opted for a simple Swoosh badge and the insole also features scripted Air Max branding. The toe cap and mudguard are blacked-out and curiously, the leather used looks to be artificially scuffed.
