The Nike Air Safari Is Returning in 2024

2024 looks to be a big year for the Swoosh as there’s a good amount of retros returning in the new year. While the classics like the Air Force 1 and Air Maxes will always be at the forefront for , the Swoosh are bringing back a cult classic in the .
Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Air Safari was launched in 1987 alongside the Air Max 1 and Air Trainer 1, better known as the Air Pack. Last retroed in 2018, the Air Safari’s DNA is seen through a variety of Nike footwear, ranging from Jordans, Mercurials, and more. The sneaker returns in 2024 in its OG colourway, as black and orange make up the upper with its signature ostrich skin-inspired print placed on the mudguard, heel overlay, and ankle collar. Air cushioning is enclosed in the black and white midsole as the same hues make up the outsole, finishing off the sneaker.
The Nike Air Safari is expected to return in Summer 2024, hitting Nike’s channels and select retailers for $140. Keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker as we await more details.
