Nike Auction Off 20 Years of Doernbecher Iterations

It’s the 20th year of annual partnership, with the duo first partnering up to raise money for the children’s hospital in 2004. They have raised $37 million in the years since, but on top of that, the program provides a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to design their very own sneaker with Nike. To celebrate the anniversary, the are coming in special edition split packaging and alongside a Tech Fleece hoodie that incorporates designs from each patient. But that’s not all the Swoosh have up their sleeve, as they’re also hosting an auction with iterations from the past 20 years up for bidding – all proceeds will of course be donated to the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital.

There are 54 sneakers altogether, and there are a range of sizes available. Highlights include some OG iterations from 2004 like Krystal’s and Leah’s Air Zoom FCs, Joey's Nike SB Dunk Low, and Finn's Nike Dunk High Pro SB. A few have sold already, including Kenny’s Buzz Lightyear inspired Air Zoom Huarache 2K5 for $520, Catalina's Zoom Janoski for $340, and Ayman's Blazer 77 for $300 – so if you have your eye on anything in particular, get in quick! There’s also a 20th anniversary t-shirt available, which is available with a $40 donation.

The auction is live right now and ends on November 18. There is also a possibility that more sneakers will be added, so here’s hoping the coveted Isaiah Thomas Air Jordan 4 ‘Superman’ will make an appearance.
