The Nike v adidas Flyknit/Primeknit battle has gone up a gear, with a Nuremberg court awarding Nike an interim injunction that bars adidas from selling sneakers in Germany. Nike plans to push for a permanent ban, while adidas representatives have stated that they "don't comment on pending litigation". Despite the obvious similarities between the /Primeknit product, adidas maintain that their version has been in development for three years. What do you think? Is Primeknit a Nike knock-off, or is it possible that the two behemoths of the footwear industry struck on the same innovative idea independently of each other? Looks like the courts will soon be making the final call. News via Oregon Live and Nike Inc.
