Nike Continue the Air Flight Lite II Revival with 'Black/Team Orange/Imperial Blue' Colourway
are known to centre their retro release calendar around specific silhouettes (this year, it's the , next year it's looking like the ), but they'll throw a few unexpected classics in the mix every now and again too. One of late 2021's most unanticipated bringbacks was the , a 1992 basketball shoe that's now available in 'Black/Team Orange/Imperial Blue.'
Worn by 'Dream Team' members and Hall of Famers and Chris Mullin during the 1992 Olympic Games, the Air Flight Lite II was designed to be quick and supportive, perfect for the all-around game of Pippen and the deft scoring touch of Mullen. Unlike a simple, recently-revealed , the 'Black/Team Orange/Imperial Blue' is vivid, embellishing its black nubuck base with hearty pops of blues, oranges (which appear to have a red tint in the photos above) and yellows for a makeup that's almost Oklahoma City Thunder-esque.
The Nike Air Flight Lite II 'Black/Team Orange/Imperial Blue.' is available now at Offspring and is priced at £110. As 2022 marks its 30th anniversary, we may well see more colourways pop up in the coming months too.
