Update May 17, 2023: A triple black Nike Terminator has entered the chat! Coming together with the Nike Cortez ‘Triple Black’ to form a murdered-out duo, the Terminator will also land on SNKRS come May 20.

Update May 8, 2023: The blacked-out Nike Cortez is finally ready to release! It’ll land via SNKRS on May 20.

The Nike Cortez has been a sneakersphere stalwart since 1972 and has arrived in every flavour imaginable. This year is already looking major for the decades-old silhouette with some already-released crispy GR iterations and a wild CLOT collaboration. It seems Nike are still celebrating the model’s 50th anniversary in 2023 because next up is a PRM edition. And Team Swoosh have kitted this bad boy out in a ‘Triple Black’ makeover with some interesting materials.

This Cortez PRM rocks a full ‘Triple Black’ upper, with the only contrasting point being the dubrae and subtle, white-speckled midsole. The materials are where it shines, opting for a nubuck base layer, shaggy suede overlays and reflective details on the laces. The blacked-out nylon tongue, side and insole branding round out this sleek colourway.
