It's no secret that sneakers and food have an ongoing friendship which goes way back! Over the years there have been downright saliva-inducing creations such as the DQM x Nike Air Max 90 ‘Bacon’, END. x ASICS GEL-Lyte III ‘Wasabi', just to name a couple! And in more recent years, the tasty drops have continued to been served up including a sweet number from Saucony – the Shadow 6000 ‘Sweet Street’. Then Nice Kicks and ASICS also came together to whip up the GEL-Lyte III ‘Nice Cream’.

The next food item, or in this case, vegetable, to form the basis of inspiration for a potential upcoming Nike Dunk Low is none other than the humble avocado! Inarguably one of the most beloved breakfast staples all around the world, especially when eggs and toast are involved, the buttery green number can be seen all over the silhouette! As per the images via @brandon1an, the dark green, grainy uppers are reminiscent of the avocado's skin, with the lighter green coloured lining and heel tabs nodding to the inside! The insole takes the colour of the avocado's pit, with 'product of nike' stickers seeing the design easily sitting among the fresh produce at your local market!

Will you be after these if they end up seeing an official release?
