Nike Dunk Low Gets a 'Padded Tongue' GS Release
The kids are getting treated by the this year, first with the and now with a Nike ‘Padded Tongue’. Colourway aside, the design gives off a 'child-proof' vibe, with the base of the upper constructed in a soft ballistic mesh base that also shares the tongue’s padded look.
The iteration starts with a ‘Light Lemon Twist’ outsole that adds a bright touch, with a translucent midsole and beige base. The leather overlays on the upper are also in beige, but the difference in material creates a nice contrast between the double beige. Colour appears again on the light blue laces that have a darker blue speckle pattern. The insole looks to be in this same blue, with the lemon splashing on the Nike branding. The padded tongue is an additional design feature to the Dunk, which gives a touch of soccer style.
The Nike Dunk Low GS ‘Padded Tongue’ doesn’t have a release date yet, but is expected to launch in Grade School sizing during the Holiday 2023 season for $90.
