Nike Kick It Old School with the Dunk Low 'Vintage Green'
Enterprising sneaker customisers from to have found great success ageing, distressing and generally making new look old again, so Nike themselves have decided to get in on the action with artfully-'aged' and like this 'Vintage Green' colourway.
A time capsule in footwear form, the 'Vintage Green' offers an upper composed of both smooth white and shimmering green leather, a similar combo to the Michigan State-inspired save for the high-gloss 'Vintage Green' sheen. The key 'aged' details arrive via yellow laces and a yellow midsole, while green outsoles complete the look.
Though the Dunk Low 'Vintage Green' and its corresponding may seem acutely on-trend – and they definitely are – this actually isn't the first time Nike have produced 'aged' Dunks: they did in the early-mid 2010s, when the Dunk hype wasn't nearly as high as it is now. Back then, many pairs even wound up at outlets. We don't see that happening this time around!
Look for the Nike Dunk Low 'Vintage Green' to release sometime in 2022. Information on a retail price has yet to be announced.
