Nike Enlist Trio of Female Designers for Future Collections

have been making inroads into the female sneaker market, having realised that girls want more than just smaller, pinker versions of men’s offerings. This year’s collection and female-focussed are both testament to the Swoosh’s renewed focus, and it looks set to continue.

Nike have announced that Martine Rose, Ambush’s Yoon, and Colette’s Sarah Andelman will link with the Beaverton team in 2018. Rose and Yoon will both release capsule collections — we’ve heard whispers of an Air Monarch from Rose — while Andelman will curate part of the Unlaced site.

It signals good things in the future for the Swoosh, so keep your eyes peeled for more to come.
