Nike Hyperdunk 2013 Gets 'dissected'

Prepare yourself mentally, this might be tough for some of you to watch. The sneaker surgeons at Chinese website Long 7 have got out the scalpels and sliced and diced the Nike Hyperdunk 2013 to see what's really inside. It hurts to watch a new pair of kicks go to waste like this but the dissection video below is also strangely hypnotic, especially when paired with a slow jam. We can't really provide a great verdict on the cut-up because we can't feel the sponginess of the midsole or touch the materials, but just from the vision, the pieces that maketh the Hyperdunk machine look pretty plush – there's no filthy cockroaches infesting any part of this kitchen. The real enjoyment of doing this article though came in translating Long 7's writing. Proving Google Translate has a long way to go, or Long 7 just have awesome ways of expressing themselves, we found the shoe consistently referred to as a 'dragon' and the dissection process as 'dismantling the dragon', while other choice quote translations included, 'the appearance of relatively high uplift ass shock', 'these structures are generally nothing more than shoes', and 'the problem lies in the heavenly quality supervision departments'. True!
