First Look: Nike ISPA Sense Flyknit
The team at ISPA (Improvise; Scavenge; Protect; Adapt) continue to exist at the vanguard of experimental sneaker design, the fledgling operation recently debuting futuristic, eco-conscious models like the ISPA Link, Road Warrior and Drifter.
The latest weapon in the ISPA arsenal is the Sense Flyknit, a silhouette borrowing some of the bold design hallmarks laid down by Nike Hike and ACG intel in the 1980s and 1990s.
The model’s eponymous flyknit material lines the uppers in varying weight, shape and colour, the duo of debut colourways arriving in ‘Light Bone’ and ‘Enigma Stone’. In terms of branding, mini Swooshes are stamped on the toes of the soles and on the collars, while Nike’s ISPA logo strikes the medial straps.
Down below, the ISPA Sense Flyknit is no doubt emboldened by its gargantuan midsoles, the larger-than-life cushioning system extending the aesthetic vocabulary of former ISPA models like the Overreact and Road Warrior (no word yet on what specific cushioning technology will be utilised by Nike, but React Foam is rumoured to make an appearance).
No release details for the ISPA Sense Flyknit have yet been announced by Nike, but make sure to keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker for updates.
In the meantime, why not check out the sneaker technology of 2022 (so far!).
