As Phoenix Suns fans eagerly anticipate Kevin Durant’s return from an ankle injury Wednesday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Nike Basketball cooked up a ‘What The’ rendition of the Nike KD 15, which we should see on shelves and on court very soon.

Originally from the Nike SB ‘What The’ Dunk Low from 2007, the hectic and mismatched colourway has made its way onto previous Nike KD models, most recently on the Nike KD 10 in limited quantities.

Taking from past KD 15 colourways like the ‘Aunt Pearl’ and ‘All-Star’, to name a few, the mismatched theme is apparent on almost every panel of the sneaker. The TPU wings on the medial and lateral sides feature the Swoosh and help provide stability to the mesh upper. The mismatched theme continues on the full-length Zoom strobel setup, blending cushioning and responsiveness while cutting down weight. Lastly, an amoeba-like pattern is featured on the mismatched outsole to finish off the sneaker.

The Nike KD 15 ‘What The’ is expected to drop in the near future via Nike channels and at select retailers for $160. Keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker for any updates.
