The Nike Kobe 8 ‘Halo’ is Coming Soon

A new Nike Kobe sneaker is on the way. After the Bryant estate and Nike agreed to a long-term deal in 2022, fans were anticipating the return of Nike Kobe Protro models such as the Nike Kobe 6 Protro. Looks like the Nike and the Bryant estate have more on the way, as Nike are gearing up for Mamba Day and unveiling something special tomorrow, August 10.

Not much is known about the sneaker yet, but in a teaser video posted to social media, a silhouette of a low-top basketball sneaker is shown. The shape of the sneaker looks like the Nike Kobe 8, and the return of the sneaker in Protro form is expected in the near future.

The upcoming Nike Kobe sneaker will be unveiled tomorrow, August 10 during SNKRS ‘Live From the Archive’. A countdown clock shows 08:23:23, suggesting a release date for the sneaker which happens to be Kobe’s birthday.
