Organised crime is running rampant in the sneaker industry, with millions of dollars worth of merchandise being stolen, and stories are continuing to surface of high-stakes heists. It wasn’t long ago when Nike’s Memphis warehouse – the company’s biggest distribution centre – was raided. Over 20 trailers were broken into with thieves stealing over $800,000 worth of products.

Now, allegations have emerged stating that $200,000 worth of goods were stolen this week in a single robbery at Team Swoosh’s Memphis employee store. According to reports by TMZ, thieves ransacked a store in Tennessee at 4am, stealing almost a quarter of a million dollars worth in sneakers and other Swoosh gear. Police were called to the scene, and allegedly witnessed five different cars fleeing with their headlights off.

It’s unclear at this time if the thieves have been caught. Stay locked to Sneaker Freaker for updates.
