Nike Open Gigantic New Headquarters In Nyc

have gone all-in to make Manhattan their second home, launching their new 150,000 square-foot NYHQ in Midtown replete with all the trimmings you'd expect from the world’s largest sports brand. The East Coast Swoosh mecca features a rooftop garden, design studio, open-plan work spaces and a meeting area inside a Kombi (a nod to the van Bill Bowerman and Jeff Johnson used to haul product to track meets). Last but definitely most dazzling, Nike have fitted the space with a 400-seater basketball court with plans to open it up to local leagues and high school teams.

While Oregon will always be the brand’s heart, this new space shows Nike are intent on taking a sizeable bite out of the Big Apple sportswear market.
