Nike’s ‘Year of the Dragon’ Pegasus 40 Is For the Runners

Nike continue to add to their ‘Year of the Dragon’ pack. The Chinese New Year theme has appeared on multiple Swoosh silhouettes, from the lifestyle Air Jordan 1 Low OG to performance shoes like the KD 4. Now, Nike rope in one of their longest-standing running shoes into the festivities, with a ‘Year of the Dragon’ Nike Pegasus 40 slated for the new year.

The shoe’s signature perforated mesh upper is coated in a ‘Sail’ hue, resting atop a pristine white treatment of the Zoom Air midsole unit. The ‘Year of the Dragon’ motif is honoured with ‘University Red’ painting the lateral Swooshes and tongue tab. Meanwhile, rose pink coats the medial Swooshes and top eyestays. The heels feature ‘Just Do it’ on the left with Chinese characters on the right.
