Update September 9, 2022: On-foot shots have surfaced of the new Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Be True’. Nike are yet to officially comment on this pair that has been circling the internet.

Every year, Nike honour the LGBTQIA+ community with a special collection of sneakers, apparel and activations called BETRUE. And since 2019, Team Swoosh have donated 2.7 Million towards LGBTQIA+ groups that encourage inclusion in sport. This year, their collection featured a broad range of colourful apparel and footwear, which also included an SB Dunk Low. Now, masterchefian has revealed a sample BETRUE SB Dunk that was allegedly scrapped from that collection!

This iteration rocks an interesting construction, with a wide mesh base layer and denim-esque heel. Elsewhere, pastel nubuck reaches the overlays, while pink leather accentuates the Swoosh. Adding to the BETRUE theme, rainbow graphics have been placed along the lateral next to specialised tongue and heel logos.
