Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Just Vote’ Created by The Shoe Surgeon and Jeff Staple
With the November 3 Election Day fast approaching, and have teamed up to encourage you to get out and vote with their latest collaborative creation: the aptly named ‘Just Vote’.
Blessed with an all-American aesthetic, the custom Dunk features tumbled white leather with a side Swoosh emerging from a black rectangular box, a nod to voters checking off their ballots. A red fabric ‘Vote’ tag hangs from the aforementioned Swoosh, while the heel is decorated with a graphic of the Staple Pigeon wearing an Uncle Sam–style red, white and blue hat. For the tongues, the traditional branding has been replaced with a Nike Swoosh/Vote graphic, as ‘SRGN’ comes embroidered on the heels instead of the usual ‘Nike’. Meanwhile, the insoles and outsoles elevate the USA theme, coming through in a red, white and blue combo inspired by voting stickers. A special ‘Vote’ hangtag completes the design.
This patriotic pair will be part of a giveaway, where participants can enter by proving they’ve voted. If you’re keen, all you need to do is take a simple test on the Just Vote webstore, and provide photographic evidence of your vote (mail-in or in person).
