Nike Sportswear Mercurial And Magista Collections
The 2014 FIFA World Cup is about to go down in Brazil next month, in preparation Nike have syphoned some electricity out of the globe's most loved game and injected it into a slew of Sportswear silhouettes for everyday living. Nike didn't have to search too far to find their main muses either, using the textiles and zany colours from their and football boots as inspiration for the look and feel of the pack. The collection comprises a whopping 19 sneakers in total, including editions of the , , , Men's , , Women’s , women’s , and the new women’s LunarTiempo Sky Hi. Check the entire package in the gallery above and look below for some of our personal favourites. The Nike Sportswear Magista and Mercurial collections will be available at and select Nike Sportswear retailers on May 22 and June 12 respectively.
AIR MAX 1
Not much explanation needed here is there? An Air Max 1 in a blue/red crossfaded colourway, slices of white to break it all up and then a shimmering 24K gold Swoosh flanking the sides. PS: Did you know that gold is the official colour of all ballers internationally the globe over worldwide? It is.
ROSHE RUN HYPERFUSE
There are a lot of reasons why we dig this release – the colours, the shape, the simplicity – but to put it plain and simple, we think they're simply fresh.
AIR MAX THEA JACQUARD
The Air Max Thea is a little but of a curveball surprise package. Since they crept onto the market about a year back, the Thea has grown in popularity. The appeal of its stripped-back vibe is extended even further in this particular release with the single piece Flyknit upper making for a truly sweet sneak. PS: Ladies only!
