Nike Take Over Livestock For Football Pop-Up Shop
Canada is currently the proud host of the 2015 Women's FIFA World Cup, so Vancouver's football fanaticism is at fever pitch. Though not an official tournament sponsor (we don't blame 'em, that revenue hasn't ended up in the most trustworthy of hands), Nike has made a habit of being inescapable come World Cup time; they're the kit supplier for a stack of competing teams and they also get creative with their promo and sales work on the ground. In that vein, they've taken over Vancouver sneaker store for the duration of the comp, making it a destination for watching games and perusing Swooshed soccer product. In addition to clever decor details like a massive football chandelier and a turf display with framed national crests, a space next to Livestock has been converted into a faux laundromat and tailoring business, offering gloriously un-digital ordering of NIKEid goods. Flick through the pics above to get an idea for what we're ranting about, or better yet, head to the store and see it for reals – it's on East Pender Street.
