Nike Unveil Football Federation Team Kits for FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023

In the lead-up to the world-stopping event, which is jointly hosted by Football Federation Australia and New Zealand Football, have unveiled kits for its global roster of teams. Marking Nike’s largest-ever investment into women-specific research, the Home and Away kits hero the unique needs of today’s female featuring fresh fits and material innovation geared towards bringing women’s-focused movements to the forefront.
As expected, the Matildas Home kits arrive in signature gold. They feature handcrafted acrylic pour and marbling patterns – a nod to Australia’s diversity. To honour the traditional kits of the past, the jersey is paired with green shorts and white socks. On the back of the jerseys, you’ll find a ‘For All’ marking, which signifies a message of inclusivity to everyone looking to get involved.
While the Home kits nod to the past, the Aussies’ Away kit is fixated on the future and is a product of the Australian team’s request for both brighter and alternative colours that haven’t been seen before. As such, the kits feature bright hues of blue that create a vibrant, energetic and modern look.
The team kits will be available direct from Nike and select retailers. The wider collection will also land in the coming months and feature jackets, tracksuits, vests, t-shirts and more.
