‘Sequoia’ Lands on the Nike Zoom Vomero 5
aren’t slowing down with these colourways, with yet another one on the way. The Vomero has been making waves in the sneakersphere recently, due to its marriage of comfort, style and running technology. The newest addition is called ‘Sequoia’, which is a species of giant redwood trees – the biggest trees on Earth! The connection between the name and the aesthetic is easy to make, as this new iteration is predominately dressed in forest green and khaki.
The ‘Sequoia’ has all the standard Zoom Vomero 5 features, with breathable mesh upper, cushioned rubber soles, and Zoom Air technology. The name colour features on the mesh upper, whereas the leather overlays and plastic lace cage and heel counters are in khaki. The midsole adds some light in the colour ‘Sail’, but the dark theme continues with a black outsole. The 3M reflective detailing is in metallic silver, giving the model its glow-in-the-dark safety feature.
The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 ‘Sequoia’ will be available in women’s sizing at $160. It’s set to drop soon, so stay tuned for official details.
