Official Reveal: CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 ‘Kiss of Death – Cha’ is a Fine Brew
Just a day after being , have unveiled a full pictorial for the ‘Kiss of Death – Cha’ alternate colourway. The recent return of the has only just come and gone, but CLOT founder Edison Chen has surprised the sneakersphere with a special release coinciding with Air Max Day festivities.
The limited edition colourway is based on an OG ‘K.O.D.’ sample from 2006, which was inspired by the Chinese tradition of drinking tea. Dominated with brown tones, the sneaker makes use of the updated construction of the 2021 Nike Air Max 1 ‘Kiss of Death’ release, dressing in an autumnal ‘Rocky Tan’ upper with ‘Sport Red’ Swooshes. Additional red embroidery decorates the rear heel, while Chinese print insoles are found inside. Down below, there’s a ‘Medium Brown’ midsole, which is complemented with a translucent outsole, with Chinese reflexology point graphics underneath. A fine brew indeed!
At this stage, it looks like the Nike Air Max 1 ‘Kiss of Death – Cha’ will be quite limited, releasing at CLOT’s Fall/Winter 2021 ‘DYNASTY’ presentation on March 27 in Shanghai. Another official release is set to take place through – those details will be revealed soon. Stay tuned for more info.
