Between the 80s and 90s, Apple didn’t just create their iconic Mac computers, they also created a swathe of apparel and other accessories that today cost a pretty penny. From t-shirts to sneakers and even collaborative Mission Impossible merch, the behemoth tech company has a long history in the fashion industry. Nowadays, their vintage wares have quickly become collector's items, and it’s big news whenever one of their rarer pieces comes to market, such as the recent Apple-branded sneakers…yours for only $50,000.

Listed by iconic auction house Sotheby’s, this pair is officially called the Omega Sports Apple Computer Sneakers and are a US 10.5. Arriving in DS condition, this pair was custom-made for Apple employees in the mid-90s and were a one-time giveaway during a sales conference. Exuding a retro vibe, the entire upper has been coated in white leather with the iconic rainbow logo on the tongue and lateral.

The Omega Sports Apple Computer Sneakers are an ultra-rare find, and as they weren’t made available for public consumption, they’re sure to whet the appetite of obscure vintage collectors. It’s unlikely we’ll see another pair like this go to market anytime soon.
