Update February 14, 2022: After seeing a global release mid-December last year, the PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo 1 is due to drop again! Now Nike have confirmed that the sneaker will once again land on SNKRS later this month on February 25 for $180. Stay tuned for a potential wider release coming, we'll be sure to keep you updated.

G-Dragon’s PEACEMINUSONE label and Nike are finally ready to release the K-Pop superstar’s signature sneaker dubbed the Kwondo 1! The teaser period for the drop has been long, with rumours first surfacing in May and a first look via an IG teaser post arriving in September. Last month is when it really kicked off, with Friends and Family colourways surfacing, alongside release details and official pics.

The PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo 1 is obscure to say the least, as it’s a hybrid creation between a formal wingtip shoe and sneaker with subtle golf inspiration. The whole upper has been constructed entirely of leather, with flaps covering the laces featuring specialised co-branding matching the insoles. The toe box is sharp with wingtip inspired paneling that also reaches the eyestays and rear. Elsewhere, signature PEACEMINUSONE embroidered flower branding touches the heel.

K-pop stans and sneakerheads will both be after the PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo 1, so don’t sleep! The drop will take place via SNKRS and select retailers on December 3. A bunch of stores are holding raffles right now and we’ve listed them down below in our Where to Buy guide.
