Pharrell and adidas’ HU NMD ‘Spot’ Takes a Walk on the Wild Side
and have been working together for almost a decade, and one of their most dependably popular products is the . Skateboard P's special take on the , the Hu NMD has been used to spotlight everything from Pharrell's to and even India's . Now, it's taking a walk on the wild side with a new 'Spot' colourway, revealed in on-foot photos from .
Combining a fluorescent colour scheme with animal print detailing, the 'Spot' is wonderfully over-the-top – Miami gaudiness in sneaker form. Bright orange is used on its upper and BOOST midsole, and the former piece is covered by its signature embellishment: embroidered leopard print that features black and flamingo pink rosettes. If that wasn't enough, there are also mint green laces and red trim around the collar. Unlike most other Hu NMDs, this pair doesn't feature any text running down the throat and toebox. A steel grey heel tab, midfoot cage and midsole bricks bring some semblance of order to complete the look.
If you're looking to add some – OK, a lot – of boisterous flair to your sneaker rotation, you'll be able to do so when the 'Spot' drops later this year. An exact date of release has yet to be announced, as does a retail price, but keep it locked here for more info as soon as it's made available.
