Hidden among the models wearing the collaborative barrage of clothes, sneakers and accessories centred around the ‘Phreadship’ were colossal boxes that housed their next venture – personal archives from the duo that are being auctioned off.
At the end of the show while Pharrell and Nigo took their victory lap, the frosted glass boxes revealed the many sought-after items collected by the pair over the decades. Included in the archive were original Andy Warhol silkscreen prints, Domeau & Peres Lip Chair, Hermès skateboards and plenty of sneakers! One of the most eye-catching editions in the auction is the , which comes from Pharrell’s personal collection. Also belonging to the artist is a selection of his , including a 2015 N.E.R.D. iteration and two hand-painted samples. N.E.R.D. vibes continue with their legendary colab from 2004 of which only 1,050 pairs were created. Pharrell’s collaborations with and are also present, both set to fetch tidy four-figure sums, rounding out with Louis Vuitton Damier Pony Hair Boots.
