New Images Surface of the Union x Nike Cortez

Update March 11, 2022: A fresh new batch of images have surfaced courtesy of @woganwodeyang​ showing off the black version of the upcoming Union LA x Nike Cortez. We're still yet to hear official confirmation on the collaboration.

Union LA have become a powerhouse player for sneakerheads the world over, Chris Gibbs’ imprint a heavyweight collaborator again in 2021.

From the Air Jordan 4 to the recently leaked Air Jordan 2, Union LA are now set to take on another classic from the Nike catalogue, the Cortez ready for a remix in 2022. Already unveiled in a reported tan colourway, the latest images to surface involve an acqua aesthetic fit for the warmer weather. Opting for an on-trend deconstructed aesthetic, the Cortez looks to be manufactured in a canvas textile-like base with suede overlays.

Branding appears via the Union UN/LA tag at the forefoot and signature Frontman logo on the heels. In terms of a midsole, it looks like Nike’s eco-conscious Crater Foam may make an appearance.

There's no official confirmation from either party as yet, but make sure to keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker for updates.
