Prepare for Breezy Toes in the Nike Air Woven
are set to bring back a summertime favourite in the , a model that has returned sporadically since its debut in the year 2000. The innovative design is still fresh, as a cult following remains over 20 years on – the model even has some fleeting cameos in Lost In Translation – and is likely only going to grow with the imminent arrival of new colourways.
As its model name suggests, the Air Woven is manufactured by dozens of fabric strands woven by hand, which means effectively unlimited colour possibilities. This new addition takes full advantage of that design feature, and displays a vibrant multicoloured finish that’s reminiscent of the HTM ‘Rainbow’ editions from the early 2000s. It’s offset by a beige heel and instep panels, and it all sits atop a sculpted foam midsole with encapsulated Air.
The last time the Air Woven was in circulation was between 2017 and 2018, a period which saw a number of limited editions, and even a Colette (gone but not forgotten) collaboration. Before that, its namesake woven elements were referenced in other Nike hybrids like the Footscape Woven and Air Max Woven Boot.
Check out the new colourway above, and hold out for more views and drop details once they’re confirmed.
