PUMA Bespoke Collection
Taking inspiration from England’s famous Saville Row, where customers come to order custom-made clothing, PUMA’s Bespoke collection in conjunction with Oki-ni, takes iconic styles from the PUMA Archive and re-interprets them in the spirit of Britain’s luxurious Bespoke tradition. Bespoke clothing is tailored exactly to the customer’s specifications, and created without the use of a pre-existing pattern, resulting in one-of-a-kind pieces.
This collection, created in a Bespoke spirit, includes a limited number of products that exhibit the manufacturing expertise of traditional local craftsmanship. Each piece in the collection combines the integrity of the classic PUMA design with the finest fabrics and leathers. Each style is limited to a quantity of just one hundred, and come wrapped in their own individual boxes. All styles are available only through the Oki-ni website or in the limited-time guerilla store in London.
Based on the iconic Archive T7 track jacket, the PUMA Jacket uses only the finest English wool-twill sourced in Saville Row by Bespoke tailors, Ravi Tailor & AJ Hewitt. The PUMA Hoody is a classic silhouette from the PUMA Archives with a twist. Traditional features are updated with different fabrics and shirtings.
The PUMA Cat Logo Cap was developed by Walter Wright, who has been making felt and straw hats for over 100 years. Made out of Russian rabbit felt, the highest grade available, the cap combines PUMA’s classic baseball cap style with the materials and production process of the traditional English bowler hat. Created from a mold made specifically for this hat, a measure of rabbit felt is hand pressed at a specific temperature. After steaming and hand brushing, the cap is finished off with a hand embroidered PUMA Cat Logo onto the front by Hand & Lock, a traditional Saville Row embroiderer which has been using bespoke services for over 200 years. Each hat comes in its own drawstring bag.
The classic PUMA Suede will be recreated in the Bespoke tradition by Loake in Northamptonshire, the traditional heart of English shoemaking. The Loake name has been synonymous with fine handmade Goodyear Welted shoes for over one hundred and twenty-five years. The upper features traditional hand stitching and finishing in quality leathers. The lining is English calf leather with a silver PUMA/Oki-no logo in the sock liner. Limited to only 100 pairs, each shoe will come in its own premium quality shoe box together with a branded felt shoe bag.
In addition to the Loake shoe, Puma’s beloved heritage shoe was used for the Saville Row Stepper. Made from traditional English suiting materials sourced on Saville Row, the shoe compliments both the apparel and accessories in the Bespoke collection. The shoe features wool pinstripe, calico formstripe and tailored stitch details.
The Prince of Wales Liga takes the classic PUMA Liga shoe and updates it with the finest fabrics and details. Using the same wool fabrics from the PUMA Jacket, it is contrasted with a rich polished leather formstripe.
