Red... October? The adidas Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 CMPCT Appears in 'Slate Red'
and ' line caused a stir earlier this week with the reveal of a new silhouette. Though the CMPCT 'debuted' in a , its arrival was accompanied by a morsel of news that was even more delectable, namely that the CMPCT would arrive in a 'Slate Red' makeup sometime in 2022. Now, an early look at the 'Slate Red' has been provided thanks to the Yeezy Mafia team – and we must say, this mock-up has an awfully familiar colour scheme: a rich crimson hue that makes you think of the sultry red folds of 's famous from 2014.
The 'Slate Red' does indeed fill the first part of the 'Red October' moniker, and the fact that it's coming to light in October is an irony that's simply too good to ignore. However, it won't actually drop in October, as Yeezy Mafia has indicated that it'll make its way to retailers in February of next year. From a build standpoint, the 'Slate Red' features vivid rouge atop the majority of its patterned Primeknit upper, but turns down the heat just a touch with a dash of sandy brown detailing that stretches from the toebox to the midfoot. Down below, a crimson-toned, -shaped sole rounds off the look.
Though an exact date of arrival in February has yet to be pinpointed, we do know that the Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 CMPCT 'Slate Red' will retail for $220. Stay tuned for information on a specific date of arrival as soon as it's available.
