Rihanna’s FENTY and PUMA Are Running It Back

Rihanna simply cannot be stopped. After her Super Bowl LVII performance and British Vogue cover alongside A$AP Rocky and her newborn son, the superstar continues to make headlines. Now, Rihanna has announced that her luxury label FENTY are set to partner up with PUMA for the second time.

A simple post on Instagram reading ‘She’s Back.’ announced the collection, which is undoubtedly more than enough to get fans excited about the upcoming colab. In 2014, Rihanna was tapped as the Creative Director of PUMA Womenswear, with the first collaborative FENTY x PUMA collection dropping in 2015. The collection featured a fresh and non-traditional approach to athleisure, and Rihanna’s personality and personal touch shone through uninhibited.

While there were sneakers such as the FENTY x PUMA Trainer and R698, the FENTY x PUMA Creeper was the standout sneaker during their collaborative run. The upper of the PUMA Suede was used and placed on top of a chunky platform sole with a bevy of colourways released until its run ended in 2017. An honourable mention goes out to the fuzzy FENTY x PUMA Slides that really helped usher in the cosy movement as well.
