One of the sacai x Nike Magmascapes Is a sacai-Exclusive

Update November 22, 2023: sacai have officially announced details surrounding their latest Nike collaboration on the Magmascape! Pairs will land through SNKRS on December 7 with a release planned on December 6 via the sacai webstore. Early access on November 30 will also occur, with special invites handed out by the Japanese brand. Finally, sacai have revealed that the black colourway will be exclusively available through their webstore and select Japanese retailers.

Fans of the outdoors, 90s Swoosh silhouettes, and high-fashion have been waiting patiently for the latest sacai x Nike colab ever since it was teased by Chitose Abe at Paris Fashion Week. The collaborative Magmascape is a mix of vogue and vintage Swoosh designs that turned heads and lit up the catwalk. Now, we inch closer to the Magmascape’s release with a detailed first look courtesy of @brandon1an.

A winter-ready hybrid of the Air Footscape and Air Magma, the hiking silhouette comes in three colourways: ‘Black’, ‘Light British Tan’, and ‘Varsity Royal’. The Footscape’s spirit has been preserved, but this iteration in boot form includes a reimagined sole unit, similar to the Nike Lava Dome. The blended pair borrows most of the Footscape’s shadow while borrowing the Air Magma’s collar and is topped off by sacai’s signature double lacing.

The three colour schemes coat the shoe in dark shades that are appropriate for the Winter approaching the Northern Hemisphere, with the 'Varsity Blue' paying homage to the Nike Air Footscape’s 90s colourway.

The sacai x Nike Magmascapes will be available from Nike SNKRS on December 7 for $200 retail.
