Salehe Bembury Has a New ANTA Collaboration in the Works
He’s already had a remarkable 2020, but Salehe Bembury is looking to cap off the year with a bang. Fresh from releasing an eye-catching New Balance 2002R , the Vice President of Men’s Sneakers and Footwear at seems to be rekindling his collaborative partnership with Chinese sportswear brand ANTA.
Most sneakerheads will know as the official shoe sponsor of Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson, but the brand is now looking to make a wave in the luxury and lifestyle sneaker markets, much like their Chinese rivals Li-Ning. Following a futuristic-looking sneaker , Bembury is serving up another low-cut style, this time in bright orange, green and red colourways. From what we can see, the silhouette has a quirky one-piece mesh upper, which is complemented by a distinctive rubberised sheath with oval-shaped cut-out details. Down below, the midsoles are on the chunky side, with a jagged tread lending itself to a trail-style aesthetic.
At this stage, the latest Salehe Bembury x ANTA sneaker project doesn’t have a release date. However, you can expect the styles to hit select retailers in the coming months. We’ll be sure to bring you all the details once official info comes through.
