Slam Jam Take on the Salomon XT Quest 1

Update October 30, 2023: After being teased earlier this month, a drop date is set. The Slam Jam x Salomon XT Quest 1 is set to drop on November 2, 2023 exclusively via Slam Jam’s channels, with a wider global release following on November 7, dropping on Salomon.com and at select retailers. Milan retailer have had their fair share of collaborations and they’re hitting us with yet another one – this time with outdoor sportswear brand . This isn’t the first time the two have collaborated, with a previous take on the in 2022. The latest project surfaced secretly at Paris Fashion Week, with staff and shoppers at secondhand store The Archivist snapped wearing the pair. The on-foot images showed the newest model to get the Slam Jam treatment is the Salomon .
The XT Quest 1 starts with a purple-grey mesh base that is covered in metallic silver overlays. A dark grey is then used on the top to trace the outline of the design, which is in a zigzag pattern across the side. A Contagrip outsole is used, also seen in dark grey, and has a small red hit on the middle that gives the design some colour.
While we don’t have a set date for the Slam Jam x Salomon XT Quest 1, their Instagram caption on the reveal says ‘Out soon’, so a release shouldn’t be too far away. Stay locked to Sneaker Freaker for updates.
