Sneaker Exchange Cpt 2015 Recap

One of the small beauties about sneakers – and more-so the community it has created – is just how wides the love can reach. We all know of events like DunkXchange, Sneakerness, Bread and Butter, and Sneaker Freaker's own Swap Meet, as utopias for sneakerheads of all breeds and ages, but all those events are located within well-established sneaker countries that have broad brand access. So when we see photos from events like Sneaker Exchange CPT, it brings nothing but joy to our hearts to see just how big this community really is. You don't have to have the rarest shit on the street, the biggest collection on the block or even be covered completely head-to-toe in box logos – all you need is love for the scene.

Still in its infancy, we've got nothing but high hopes for the African scene in the future. Check out the flicks from the event above, and if you're planning on making a trip to this beautiful country, just know that Johannesburg is the next stop on the Sneaker Exchange schedule in August.
