Solebox Hit the Road to Sell Sean Wotherspoon's Nike Air Max 1/97
We all have to start somewhere – even ! Long before the Swoosh dominated sportswear stockists across the world, the brand's co-founder Phil Knight was slinging pairs out the back of a station wagon.
Sean Wotherspoon paid tribute to these humble origins in the lead up to , travelling the States in a Volkswagen Kombi whose paint job mimicked , and gifting pairs of said sneaker. As the idea was such a good one, Solebox are now rolling around in their own Wotherspoon-inspired Ford Econoline.

You can catch Solebox's colourful creation on the streets of Amsterdam if you're lucky. Otherwise, get up close with the van (and maybe score some Wotherspoons in the process!) at Solemart Amsterdam on March 24.
