SoleSavy Celebrate Community and Step Into the Metaverse With the SS4 Sneaker

Most sneakerheads know SoleSavy as a digital community centred around information and conversation that allows its members to bond through shared interests, but they're also shoe designers too, with four sneakers under their belt since they were founded in 2018! The latest of these is the SS4, a low-cut runner that also doubles as SoleSavy's first NFT project.

When SoleSavy set out to design the SS4, their main goal was to create a 'wearable grail,' so they combined elements of classic running footwear with new-age technological advancements. Low-cut and slim, the SS4 is dressed in a white, black and mint green colour scheme with wavy overlays, glow-in-the-dark detailing and a custom badge on the tongue. It'll also be available as an NFT, and SoleSavy has cryptically hinted that minters of the NFT will unlock several digital benifits.

The SS4 was built in partnership with Philadelphia's Garrixon Studios and designed by two footwear industry legends: Gemo Wong and Justin Taylor. Wong worked at Nike, Inc. for two decades, focusing on the Swoosh's biggest cultural projects like Off-White x Jordan Brand and Travis Scott x Jordan Brand sneakers. Taylor, on the other hand, was tapped to create high-performance products for Jordan Brand athletes like Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul and Blake Griffin.

'We’re really excited to introduce the SS4 sneaker and NFT, unlocking the next level of consumer experiences both in the real world and the metaverse,' said Dejan Pralica, SoleSavy's CEO and co-founder. 'The SS4 will allow SoleSavy to create a new consumer journey that doesn’t end at the point-of-sale, extending our mission to serve the most loyal sneaker enthusiasts.'

You can expect the SoleSavy SS4 and its corresponding NFT to release on April 18.
