Stone Island Is Back with New Balance Tokyo Design Studio on the FuelCell

The has a storied past full of innovative sneaker silhouettes that are bolstered by boundary-pushing collaborations. Recently, TDS have added to their collaborative roster, building models like the and blurring the lines between form and function. This July, the dynamic duo are reuniting for another collaboration that’s slated to touch down next week!
Reworking the FuelCell C_1, the Italian luxury brand have taken their penchant for experimental fabrics and infused that into NB’s performance-geared silhouette. The uppers are crafted using a knit fabric composed of both synthetic and organic cotton, making for an intriguing look. Down below, the midsole rocks FuelCell tech with a carbon fibre plate. Adding the final touch, co-branding can be found throughout, with the colourway inspired by the iconic 90s Stone Island jackets.
The Stone Island x New Balance TDS FuelCell C_1 will release at the brand’s webstore and select retailers on July 25.
