Take a Closer Look at The Air Jordan 1 KO ‘Storm Blue’
Talk of an ‘Storm Blue’ has been simmering for quite a while now, and a closer look has just emerged to keep enthusiasm bubbling along ahead of the expected release later this year. Whispers first started , and circulated not long after, but these latest pics provide quite a detailed look at the impending blue, black and white ballers.
Debuting in 1986 alongside the better known High and Low versions of the Air Jordan 1, the backstory of the KO is often debated. Some claim the ‘KO’ in the model name stands for ‘knock-off’ – in reference to the silhouette’s less premium construction and materials – and the canvas upper and chunkier styling tend to support that theory. Regardless of the origins, the ‘Storm Blue’ AJ1 KO has been welcomed by many as a more than worthy follow-up to the sleeper success of the recent release.
Pairs of the Air Jordan 1 KO ‘Storm Blue’ are expected to land in September this year, but we’ll let you know if official word is given before then.
