In April 2021, head honcho took to Instagram to share that he had as the Creative Director of New Balance’s Made in USA line. Set to start his role this year, sources have linked this particular model shared by retailer to his inline offerings, allegedly releasing mid-2022.
A crisp Made in USA heater, this New Balance 990v2 opts for the classic colour-blocking and materials, elevated by shaggy suede overlays. A khaki green mesh has been laid down and complemented by the beige rear panels and darker grey tongue label. NB’s ABZORB tech has been injected into the midsole, with what looks like reflective detailing on the ’N’ and heel logo.
