Teddy Santis is in his first year as New Balance’s Made in USA creative director and he’s come in swinging hard AF! Every few weeks it seems one of his tasteful 990s are hitting shelves and subsequently selling out. His latest duo of 990v2s were a hit, and his latest 990v3 ‘Raw Amethyst’ is a must-cop for NB fanatics who love a pop of colour.

Its name eludes to the Amethyst crystal and so the colourway comes correct in a mostly purple suede overlay with complementary red ’N’ and tongue logo accents. Black inserts add plenty of flair to this model and somehow sits perfectly alongside the navy mesh base layer. As to be expected with any Teddy release, the midsole has been pre-yellowed, exuding a vintage feel.
