, founder of was bestowed the title creative director of New Balance’s premium MADE in USA line almost a year ago. His new position didn’t cause shock to fans of his work as he was responsible for resurrecting the and plenty of other notable collaborations with the Boston-based brand. Everyone has been patiently waiting to see what he’ll whip up and when the the internet and moodboards went wild! The first batch has been prepared to hit shelves and consists of a , and , fitting choices seeing as it is the 99X line’s 40th anniversary this year!
Curated, premium and considered is what Santis went for and these three NBs fit his signature aesthetic. Each pair boasts a similar colourway and blend of materials, with green mesh acting as the base layer while the signature New Balance grey covers the overlays in a shaggy suede. Tan hits bring some contrast and the heel clips in leather exude an Americana vibe.
