Teddy Santis Teases His Made in USA Collection

of fame has a close relationship with , the duo have embarked on a slew of collaborations starting with their in 2019. He was also responsible for resurrecting the . Because of his exquisite taste and keen eye for detail, New Balance appointed Santis as the creative director for their Made in USA subdivision, which was a New York Times spread! Leading up to his position at the helm, we on what to expect, and at the beginning of 2022 we got our first taste.
In January, a retailer jumped the gun and an alleged early look at a Teddy Santis-curated that was available to purchase. Turns out it was made by the hands of the new creative director because it’s been spotted as part of a teaser that Santis just posted to his Instagram Story!
Taking to socials, Santis shared 16 pairs that are set to be part of his run as CD for New Balance Made in USA. So far the models we can see are the , NB990v2 and with colourways that translate to multiple silhouettes. Some of the highlights include a tonal blue colourway that’s reminiscent of the from 2019 albeit lighter toned inserts. The aforementioned leaked 990v2 colourway can also be seen adorning the 990v3 and 990. Catching our eyes is that safety orange and tonal white v2, which happened to make an appearance in ALD’s last look book alongside a potential . Above we've also pictured a card that apparently comes with each purchase, showcasing the collection.
The Teddy Santis-curated Made in USA collection still doesn’t have an exact release date, however with the man himself beginning to tease the product we suspect it isn’t far away.
