The adidas Energy BOOST is Returning with a Twist
Known as the runner that first brought BOOST to the world, the has a special place in Three Stripes folklore. Debuting in 2013, the performance runner and its bubbly base would go on to change the sneaker world forever, paving the way for legendary silhouettes like the and to fly the flag.
Returning in an OG-inspired look, the latest Energy BOOST introduces neon-coloured BOOST foam to the sole for the first time ever – a refreshing update indeed. Up top, the Techfit material upper is done in a ‘Core Black’ scheme, accented with reflective hits on the Three Stripes branding and detailing. Supporting the breathable upper textile is a heel counter, while a Torsion system works in tandem with the aforementioned BOOST to create a well-cushioned ride down below. While it perhaps doesn’t pack the same street cred as the UltraBOOST, the Energy BOOST does offer runners a classic performance-first look and feel.
