The Air Jordan 1 Is Ready for the Elements Thanks to GORE-TEX
The has occupied rarefied air for the last few years, remaining impervious to most releases trying to claim some hype for their own – save for notable silhouettes like the Dunk, of course. And now it's set to become even more impervious – to water that is. The word around the traps is that are wrapping the inimitable baller in for a new release called the 'Air Jordan 1 Element'.
At this stage, details are scarce, but have come through with some mock-ups to kickstart our imaginations. The first sees 'Sail', 'Light Bone', 'College Grey', and black combine on the upper, with GORE-TEX branding hitting the heel and toe box. The second pairs black and 'Particle Grey' with the same branded hits. It's uncertain where the weatherproof membrane will be employed on the shoe, but we can safely say your feet will be keeping dry in these no matter what. Of course, who knows how the two shoes will look when IRL pics hit our feeds.
We'll be keeping an eye out for a first look ahead of the Holiday 2021 release, so we'll let you know.
