The Detroit Pistons Tap SNIPES for a Limited Edition adidas Forum

To celebrate 313 Day, a regional celebration of the city of Detroit on March 13, adidas have teamed up with SNIPES and the local NBA franchise the Detroit Pistons to create a special edition Forum. Inspired by the back-to-back championships the ‘Bad Boys’ won between 1989-90, the sneaker comes through with plenty of luxurious details.

For the colourway, we’ve got the classic white, red and blue scheme borrowed from the Pistons’ uniform, which provides plenty of space to let the commemorative details shine through. ‘Back to back’ is printed on the underside of the ankle strap, while each pair’s number out of 600 will be embroidered on the tongue. Additionally, there’s ‘D’ embroidered on the heel, further elevating the city theme.

Limited to just 600 pairs, pairs will be sold via a dedicated SNIPES/Pistons co-branded mobile truck that will be making stops throughout Detroit. Alongside the exclusive sneaker, there will also be co-branded apparel giveaways. Expect the truck to stop by the six Metro Detroit SNIPES stores, schools, and community centres on March 13.
